Kirby Neal Davis, age 95, died peacefully at home on Tuesday May 10, 2022, following a short illness.

Born January 30, 1927, in Wenatchee Washington, to Isaac and Ada (Peterson) Davis. Kirby attended Wenatchee schools and graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1948 and Oregon Bible College, Oregon Illinois in 1949 and Central Washington University in 1974. On June 5, 1949, he married Bonnie Beth Huffer in Michigantown, Indiana they were married 65 years until Bonnie’s passing in 2015. He married Shelly Peterson in Wenatchee, November 13, 2016, in Wenatchee, who sadly passed away in 2018.

Kirby and Bonnie lived and was a minister in Corvallis, Oregon 1949 - 50, Springfield, Ohio 1950 - 54, Fredericktown, Missouri 1954 – 57, Ditmer/St Louis, Missouri 1957 – 60. Kirby was a minister of the Church of God Faith of Abraham. In 1960 Kirby and Bonnie moved to Wenatchee, he was part-time pastor at Wenatchee Church of God Faith of Abraham off and on for many years until 2020. He worked for the Wenatchee School District as a Custodian at Mission View Elementary School until retiring in 1995.

Kirby was a member of Church of God Faith of Abraham, Wenatchee, Heritage Society of the Mid-Columbia, a charter member for 37 years of The Columbia Chorale, Wenatchee Valley Senior Center, Square Dancing group Dancin’ Dandies, and Senior Bowling League at Eastmont Lanes until 2020. Kirby will be also remembered for his beautiful Tenor voice, and teaching music lessons to many people in the Wenatchee area.

Kirby is survived by his children Aaron (D’Lynn) Davis, Wenatchee, Daniel (Stefanie) Davis, Albuquerque NM, Bethany (Errol) Burbank, Wenatchee, and Carolyn (Trent) Rickman, Lavon TX, his grandchildren, Michal Mock, Jennifer Whitehall, Nathan Davis, Mara (Byron) Rockney, Carissa (Jon) Newcomer, Chantelle (Vincent) Towson, Ariel (Michael) Buyas, and Alyssa Hill (fiancé Josh Martin), and 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Kirby was preceded in death by his parents, spouses Bonnie and Shelly, infant daughter Esther Elizabeth, brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Mary), Kyle (Mary), and Boyd (Lou Ann).

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Wenatchee Church of God Faith of Abraham, 1835 North Western, Wenatchee. Relatives and friends are welcome to join us for a reception following the service in the fellowship hall at the church. A private family burial will be at Wenatchee City Cemetery.
