Myron Lee Dunning, age 91, passed away at Central Washington Hospital on May 8th, 2021. His death was due to natural causes.
Born January 21st, 1930 in Wenatchee, WA, to Avery Bertrand Dunning and Grace M. Bowman, Myron attended Wenatchee High School and graduated from Washington State University in 1960 with a BS degree in Horticulture and in 1973 with a Master’s in Extension Agriculture.
On November 1st, 1958, Myron married Nancy E. Clore. They lived in Portland, OR, and Prosser, WA and he worked at various produce shippers in WA and OR and later established a pesticide consulting business.
Myron was a handyman/ carpenter and could fix most anything. His hobbies also included building furniture and remodeling. Myron also enjoyed sewing he would sew most of his own clothes as well as for others. Myron enjoyed plants, gardening and the outdoors.
Myron Dunning is survived by his sister Barbie Arasim and brother John Dunning; children: Brian L. Dunning, Jerilyn S. Gerhardstein, Marla J. Garza and Karen Darrington, twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Myron was preceded in death by his sister Carol Shuman.
