Marian Louise Harrison Hunter, 86, Leavenworth, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Mountain Meadows in Leavenworth.

She was born on November 16, 1933 to Henry and Ina (Templin) Harrison at Leavenworth. She grew up in a family of ten out in the Icicle. She attended Leavenworth schools and graduated with the class of 1954. After high school, Marian ventured to Seattle, where she met her future husband, Ross Hunter. They were married in Seattle in May of 1964 and to this union was born a son, Mark Hunter.
Marion worked for the Shoreline School District for many years. When Marion’s husband of 33 years passed away, she returned to make her home in Leavenworth once again.
Following her diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease, she spent the last few years of her life at Mountain Meadows in Leavenworth.
Marian is survived by two grandchildren, Trevor and Elaina Hunter; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Karen Harrison, Leavenworth; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ellen and Darrell Baker, Lake Wenatchee and Maxine Smith, Peshastin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Hunter, their son Mark Hunter, sisters, Lorretta Sullivan, Norma Harrison and Arnetta Covey, one brother, Fred Harrison and her favorite uncle, Howard Templin.
