I am so sad to hear of Jim’s passing. He was a wonderful friend to my grandmother. every single time I visited her in the hospital he was by her side cheering her up. What a kind selfless man. May he Rest In Peace.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. (I just heard today.)
Jim was a dear friend to my mom, Ruth, and they loved playing cards together. We thought of Jim as part of the family and enjoyed his company very much.
We will miss him greatly.

Dear Mayfield Family,
Jim and his brother John were very popular students in Dryden in the early 1950's. Their parents were strong supporters of their boys and attended all of their athletic events.
Jim was always smiling and was a fun person to be around.
In 2002 my Dryden High School class had its 50th reunion. During the reception in the Dryden Community Hall (Fire Station) Jim stopped in to visit all 6 of us and especially to thank our former school superintendent, Lloyd Barronett. Mr. Barronett was very instrumental in getting Jim to come back to school and to eventually graduate.

Sincerely, Earl Tilly
