I have a fun memory of Gege's wonderful dad. He used to call me Twiggy. I spent many weekends up at the cabin with Gege's family when we were so young. Gege and I would have tea parties on the deck in our cool swimming suits. We had modern short hair cuts and we were so skinny. One day, Gege's dad looked at me and said you look like Twiggy! From then on where ever I saw him he'd say "Hi Twiggy!" I loved it! He also had funny sayings, like if someone was talking and another person said something that didn't make sense in the conversation he'd say "What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?" Haha. Still makes me laugh. You were all blessed to have him in your life for so long.

I admire Wayne in so many ways and for so many reasons. He was such a positive, giving person who never had a bad word for or about anyone! He seemed to be happiest sitting under the "big tree" at Watson's with an Oly in his hand sharing stories with his good friends there, but to see him after a "Coug win" was the best!! He loved his Cougs! He so generously served his community-along with Mickie-every day-after they retired they were up and out busy helping others!!
He will be sorely missed by his family; but his obituary said, "No sad faces." Wayne knew where he was going, and I'm happy for him.
P.S. I am a Coug-mom and was really sad that he missed the first game, but decided maybe Heaven has windows!
