Mable Mae Barth
March 2, 1944 – May 7, 2019
Mable Mae Barth, 75, of Ephrata, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
She was born in Kulm, North Dakota, on March 2, 1944, to the late Herbert and Hilda (Bauer) Miller. She grew up in North Dakota and attended school in Bismark.
In 1966 she met and married the love of her life, Reynold “Ray” Barth. In 1967 they moved and settled in Wenatchee, WA, and continued to raise a family and made the Wenatchee Valley their home for the next 30 years. Upon Ray’s retirement, they relocated to North Dakota for a short period and then moved back home and settled in Ephrata, WA.
Mable enjoyed thrift shopping and everyone knew of Mable’s love for chickens and her collection of Knick-knacks was proof of her passion. She loved helping others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Mable loved spending time visiting with friends and family, and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Reynold Barth, of Ephrata, WA; sons: Glenn Barth of Spokane, WA, Kevin (Deni) Barth of Texarkana, TX, and Kelly Barth of Sunnyside, WA; grandchildren: Whitney and Dillon Barth of Spokane, WA, and Kaytlyn and Madison Barth of Texarkana, TX; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Janice “Mutzie” DeLapointe.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Evergreen Memorial Park, 1301 10th St NE, East Wenatchee, WA 98802.
