Wesley Donald Whale, 84, of East Wenatchee, WA, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, WA.
He was born on March 26, 1935, to the late Lindsey and Madge (Evans) Whale, in Plunketville, Oklahoma. He served in the Army National Guard Reserves and after his honorable discharge he settled in East Wenatchee, WA. He married Peggy Walker and they had two daughters: Lisa Johnson and Raven Rose. He was employed at Alcoa for many years as a pot tender and then worked as a Foreman in Ross Orchards in Orondo, WA. He married Lynn Trapp and they had four daughters: Patty, Judy, Debby and Susie Trapp. He was an Elder for many years and long-time member the New life Center Church of God. After Lynn’s passing, Wesley married Jewel Mae Stewart in East Wenatchee, WA.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel Whale of East Wenatchee; daughters: Lisa Johnson of Orondo, WA and Raven Rose of Tacoma, WA; stepchildren: Ricky Davis of Oklahoma, Betty Crowley of Seattle, WA, Polly Hout of Sharlo, MT, James Crowley of Dryden, WA, Lorainia Handcock of East Wenatchee, WA, Lee Headley Crowley of Rock Island, WA, Robin Lynn VanDoren of Wenatchee, WA and Julia Lemke of Granite Falls, WA; brothers: James Whale of John Day, OR, and Tom Whale of Bend, OR; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Whale; brother, David Whale, two sisters, Helen Lloyd and NormaLee Kuykendal. and step-daughter, Joann Ryan
A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the New Life Center Church of God, located at 310 5th St NE, East Wenatchee, WA 98802 (the corner of 5th and Colorado Street in East Wenatchee).
