Maria Graciela Tapia

Maria Graciela Tapia AKA Dona Chela, 74, of East Wenatchee, WA, died Saturday, the 9th of March, 2019, at Central Washington hospital.
She was born on May 17, 1944, in Tijuana, Mexico to Ruben Tapia and Maria Garcia. She was the oldest of nine children. She loved to dance and would often appear on a teen dance show on channel 12 Mexican TV station. She loved to watch “The Ed Sullivan Show.” She also had the gift of song and would sing with the mariachi band every time she could at family events and at public places. She will be remembered as a very happy, outgoing and funny person.
She is survived by her four children: Graciela Medina, Marta Medina, Ruben Perez, and Gabriella Perez; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.
