She was born on November 27, 1948 in Omak to the late Frank Thompson and Rosemarie (Thompson) McCandless. She spent her early years growing up in Omak before her family moved to East Wenatchee. From this union came their two children, Bobby and Shari. They made their home together in Wenatchee. Her two favorite jobs were at Skill Source and working deliveries for Chad at Pizza N More.

Dolly was a skilled Pool Player, played in league tournaments and was a former Top Shot. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and had a large variety of collectable frogs in her home. She loved Fords, especially Mustangs.

She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Bobby L. & Lee Jarolimek, Westport, WA and Shari Lee Martins, Spokane, WA; two sisters, Juanita Haley, East Wenatchee, Norma Jones and her partner, Lacey Ledbetter both of Malaga; five grandchildren, Jon Michael Orendor, Wenatchee, James M. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Frankie Ann Thomas in 1972, and a niece in 2016.
