The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of DeWayne Lann can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Washington State Geocaching Association

Longtime WSGA Cache-Cadian member DeWayne Lann, (half of LanSearch) of East Wenatchee, passed away Saturday March 4, 2017. He and his wife Sue were active members of the geocaching community. They mentored new enthusiasts, and shared their love of the outdoors with all they encountered. DeWayne was an expert driver with endless patience and a ready smile. One sunny afternoon, while out seeking the WSGA Campout Sun Mystery Geo-art caches, I (Winos_Seattle), in my haste, managed to slam the door of the Lann-mobile on my finger. DeWayne looked at me for a moment, and then just laughed. So infectious was his laugh that I couldn't help but join him, though I was in quite a bit of pain. One fond WSGA memory with DeWayne.
